My Story - The Art of Manifesting

Material and Spiritual Goals: It is likely evident from my description that it was my spiritual connection that kept me grounded through the crisis. I felt very blessed for all the guidance and support that had allowed me to stay afloat. Yet I was also feeling frustrated by the fact that I was living in a small apartment with two kids literally on top of me and I felt a tremendous desire to upgrade my life beyond the "just-getting-by" place that had once seemed miraculous enough. With a clear sense that I did not want to stray from my spiritual path, I immersed myself in material on prosperity consciousness and manifestation with a commitment to finding a Spiritual path to material success. What I wanted: As my desire was so deep I easily attracted a wealth of information that purported to describe the spiritual path to earthly manifestation. One set of materials in particular really piqued my interest, so I decided to make a 100% commitment to conduct a serious scientific test of the processes that were offered.
I followed the techniques like a recipe -- not just intellectually but with every cell of my being. I began with the material that was offered and then created a synthesis of everything that I had understood and believed up to that point. After weeks of journaling and processing I felt that I had gained significant clarity to describe my perfect life. In early December of 1999 I energetically activated three sacred contracts.
What happened As I stated above I did not just follow the intellectual message of the master manifestors, I developed and followed a multidimensional system to guarantee that my energy would stay aligned with my goals. I continued to live my regular three-dimensional life but I also spent time each day in a sacred space where I held the total conviction that the things I most wanted were on their way to me.
The better it gets, the better it gets... I continued to use the tools to develop new ones. My work with my coaching clients deepened and expanded. Then, surprisingly, in September I received a clear signal that I must stop teaching for others and step out on my own. The idea of following this message caused me to experience a bit of fear for now that my income had significantly increased I had felt guided to move my family back into the house. Although I had seen the remarkable evidence that these tools and processes did indeed work, somehow it was easier when I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. It took a new level of faith to let go of a sizable teaching income while knowing that I was responsible for paying a mortgage and taking care of two kids. I accepted the challenge and, instead of revving up to increase my income by taking action, I spent the month of September 2000 focusing on aligning my energy. Within that same month six women contacted me (led to me by an unusual source that I had not anticipated) to interview me to become their coach. And all six hired me. The potential loss of income was more than replaced lickety-split. But that was just the beginning... With more evidence of miracles and an even deeper alignment, my work with clients moved to new level. I began to experiment by offering the manifestation tools that I had developed for myself to my clients. Helping my clients get into and hold energy alignment became my new focus and, although I had no idea at the time, I was setting the ground work for a new stage of my career. Interestingly enough, the change of career focus was not something that I had consciously planned. In fact, I thought that my new directive was to focus my energy on my Spiritual Life Coaching practice. Yet the teacher energy in me would not be silenced for long and I found myself writing outlines for a teleclass series to describe the process that I had moved myself through. One early Tuesday evening in September of 2000, I felt especially inspired and I wrote and wrote the outline to a 12 week class. Something about this outline felt particularly on target and the class description just seemed to write itself. In addition, I began to have a "knowing" that this class was going to become something very significant to me. The Prosperity Partnership: Surprisingly (to me) I felt no pressure around developing or promoting this class. I had a sense that it would be very easy to offer this to people with no attachment as to who (or how many) would show up. I approached a coaching colleague whose work seemed to fit well with the "inside-out" approach and he enthusiastically agreed to play with me to see what would happen when we offered this program in teleclass (course offered via teleconference) format. We wrote up a description and sent it out to our respective mailing lists as a "Pilot program". I remember thinking that it would be nice if 15 people wanted to experiment with us for this first round... And then 76 people signed up. Three months later 32 more joined and that was just the beginning! (Follow this link to learn more about the Prosperity Partnership program.) The Prosperity Partnership currently includes people from all over the US, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong and the USSR. Leading this program has brought me to the highest point in my personal development and I am profoundly grateful. I celebrate the freedom, joy, connection and expansion associated with this experience and feel truly blessed to be able to live my passion and receive such abundance back. Fast forward to the present: And now we are fully up to date. If you are interested in how the original sacred contracts stand: 1) In its current incarnation, the foundational PPP program draws hundreds of people together in partnership each week to experience profound and lasting multidimensional energy shifts. Since 10/2000 we've had 2926 individuals participate in the free two week trial and more than 35% of the free trial participants have chosen to become full members. 2) I have shifted to a new spiritual home in Manhattan that is truly vibrant and alive and a match to my highest values and the children and I have been taking Kabbalah classes as well. 3) The "spiritual partner" that I attracted and began a relationship with in April of 2000 is a wonderful, loving, kind and very supportive man. We celebrated 7 years together in April of 2007 and then mutually agreed to transition the relationship to a friendship. As we have such a deep connection, the friendship experience is something precious that we are committed to nurturing as we each explore new avenues. There are still significant opportunities for growth here - especially as we are sharing joint-custody of Jett - the dog. (He spends a week with John followed by a week with the kids and I and he is always happy to find himself driving up to one of his homes.) And the Universe has surprised me by attracting an old friend back into my life - at a point where we are both ripe for new possibilities. 18 years ago Dr. Greg and I were lunch buddies at Bayonne High School (I taught Psychology and he was the School Psychologist.) Our friendship was strictly platonic then (as he was married with two daughters and I was a newlywed) but we enjoyed each other's company a great deal and communicated sporadically (with holiday cards and brief phone calls) over the years since I left the school. Greg knew that I had moved to Long Island and was aware of the birth of my first son - but we had lost touch in the mid-90s. Now in Private Practice and newly single, he became fascinated with how he could use the internet to search for his favorite people from high school, college and beyond. Our casual reunion lunch morphed into a date - and we've been inseparable ever since. Kudos to the Universe for matching my Relationship Creation Declaration to a tee - in a most unusual way. ;-) The better it gets, the better it gets! All in all my life is quite scrumptious. It wasn't always this luscious - only now, with a clear understanding of how we create our own reality, do I relish the truth of the statement: 'the better it gets, the better it gets.'
