Dear Ones,
We certainly have cause for celebration.
On 9/15/06 we registered our 10,000th Prosperity Game Player.
Interestingly enough, however, our game statistics reveal that the average
visitor stops playing the game once they reach the $5000-level.
That's something worth considering.
Are you still playing the Prosperity Game?
Many of you are.
Browsing the contributions at the
game
discussion forum we see hundreds of posts from people who are
challenging their money set point with this powerful game experience.
But hundreds of others have simply stopped playing.
Are you one of them?
If yes, why is this so?
When you first signed on to play the game, how did you feel?
Excited or, at least, intrigued?
If you did originally intend to take full advantage of this opportunity to
break through blocks and increase your money-magnetism -- what got in the
way?
Why do we find things that are really good for us -- and that feel really
good -- and then just let them slip away?
The answer is 'resistance.'
When our 'resistance' to anything becomes greater than our desire,
everything comes to a grinding halt.
In every dimension of life, 'desire' provides the gas and 'resistance'
acts as the brakes.
Most often we do not even perceive our resistance, as it is part of deeply
entrenched patterns that we have come to accept as the limitations of our
'reality'. As coach and teacher Max Wellspring explains, 'our resistance
often functions under the radar of our awareness causing us to slow down
and struggle more -- much like the experience of trying to drive with the
hand brake on.'
Playing the Prosperity Game will naturally lead to an increased flow of
desire energy -- along with a new awareness of whatever resistant stance
we have been holding. Because it seems so obvious that playing the game
should be fun, people become very confused when a mélange of emotions are
stirred up - but this is precisely by design!
Resistance is not our enemy.
We don't want to push against or 'resist' feeling resistance.
What we push
against becomes more pronounced in our experience as in, 'what we resist,
persists.'
What we do want to do with resistance is to ease it, soothe it, reduce it
and dissolve it away.
With this in mind, we're initiating a mastermind discussion on the blog
(at
http://choosingprosperity.typepad.com/ ) about 'rising above
resistance.' We'd love for you to share ideas, tools and resources that
have enabled you to experience and break through resistance in an
empowered way.
If you are new to these concepts, experiencing the
Prosperity Game and reviewing the complimentary
game handbook (especially pages 16 - 21) will provide you with a clear
picture of how desire and resistance impact our ability to create
prosperity.
You are currently standing at a cross-roads. In the face of a wall of
resistance -- what will you choose? Will you gather all of the resources
at your disposal and rise above it -- or will you let it take you down?

know that it takes a daily commitment to keep this enhanced perspective at
