Dear Ones,
Conventional wisdom tells us: if you want to be
"wealthy" you need to:
-
work hard
-
make sacrifices
-
and trade time for money
Now that you are on a journey of Conscious Creation,
doesn't it seem outlandish to suggest that sacrificing
one's happiness in the present moment is the best
approach to guaranteeing one's happiness in the future?
Furthermore, when you consider the Law of Attraction, it
becomes evident that feeling stressed and
"behind-the-eight-ball" in this moment will simply make
one magnetic to feeling stressed and
"behind-the-eight-ball" in the future.
It's time to try on a new story...
I have let go of the "no pain, no gain" paradigm. With
the
understanding of how the Universal Laws really work I
find it
more powerful to "vacation" my way to prosperity.
For the summer of 2008 I specialized in 3-day work
weeks.
On my long weekends, I did a fair bit of traveling (to
Texas,
South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and upstate NY) which was
balanced by hosting visitors (from Maryland, Arkansas,
and the United Kingdom.) The kids enjoyed amusement
parks, pools and paintball showdowns while Greg and I
had time alone at live concerts, Broadway shows and,
most recently, an Imago weekend workshop.
And tomorrow we're headed off for a quick 4-day cruise.
Yet - even though I've been out of the office more than
in it
this summer - July has been my highest grossing month
(year to date.)
So I can tell you with absolute certainty: lightness,
fun and
ease can co-exist with the creation of financial
prosperity.
And, most importantly, There is nothing special about
me. Every one of us is more magnetic to our desires when
we are feeling good!
But don't take my word for it.
