Choosing Prosperity In 'Interesting' Times
Dear Ones,
Are you familiar with what is often referred to as an ancient Chinese
curse: 'May you live in interesting times'?
Although this 'curse' is not of 'ancient' or 'Chinese' origin after all -
the reason that it has stayed in the collective consciousness (and is
cited so regularly) is this ironic message strikes a chord deep within.
We are certainly living in 'interesting' times - and some of us have been
affected very significantly by things we see happening around us.
Do you find yourself experiencing moments of fear, frustration and/or
powerlessness as you consider: global warming, the threat of terrorist
attacks, war in the Mid-East, high gas prices, trillion-dollar national
debts?
Would you be willing to trade these 'interesting' times for a nostalgic
memory of 'simpler' times?
While such desires are, at times, certainly understandable - they do not
serve deliberate creators one bit!
From Abraham-Hicks - This is a
Glorious Time:
'It has never been more important for those upon planet Earth to
understand the creative process, for never before has the creative energy
been so powerful.
Never before have your thoughts translated into actual physical
manifestation so rapidly. Never before has there been so much potential
for the glorious exaltation that comes with receiving that which is
wanted---and never before has there been the potential for so much painful
experience from setting into motion
that which is not wanted.
This time, is a glorious time. A time of great wanting. A time of much
more allowing and a time of much more receiving. And with all of that, a
time of contentment, satisfaction, peace, joy, exhilaration and, indeed,
ecstasy.
But each of you chooses the degree of satisfaction, contentment, peace,
love, joy, or ecstasy that you will experience, for there is a broad range
of that which may be experienced, and all of it hinges upon your
willingness to make decisions about what you want, and your belief, or
knowing, that that which you think, is.'
Question: Can
you hold your focus while all ___ breaks loose around you?
While an understanding of universal laws will make it easier for you to
attract more of what you do want...
...it is as valuable, if not more so, to apply these laws as soon as you
note that you have attracted what you don't want.
When we see things 'out there' in the external world that are not to our
liking, the Universe is providing us with a custom- designed opportunity
to clear things up in our own vibrational back yard.
So do not get so caught up in focusing on what you don't want that you
forfeit your power to create more of what you do want.

our ability to inspire compassion from others and respond
compassionately to others and ourselves. It guides us to reframe how
we express ourselves, how we hear others and resolve conflicts by
focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing,
and requesting.
3. Marianne Williamson and the
Peace
Alliance
Participate in an historic citizen lobbying effort to create a U.S.
Department of Peace. There is currently a bill before both Houses of
Congress (House Resolution 3760 and Senate 1756). This historic
measure will augment our current problem-solving modalities, providing
practical, nonviolent solutions to the problems of domestic and
international conflict.
