To Everything There Is A Season..

Dear Ones,

I often sit on the landing on the top floor of my new home and meditate under the skylight.

From this point I can look out the huge picture windows and see the trees and the hillside that leads to the lake. Looking down I see the dining room and bronze wall fountain that marks the center of the living room. Looking up, all I see is sky.

I find this spot to be the most magical place in the world as I ground myself in feeling "at home" in my personal space while knowing, simultaneously, that I am part of an interconnected universe.

My new home (pictures here) is a far cry from where I sat exactly one decade ago - in a tiny, cramped apartment - a single parent alone with a 3 and a 5 year old, working multiple jobs outside the home, desperate for a new beginning.

So much has changed in the last ten years - in every area of my life.

And it just keeps getting better!

Ten years ago I sought to double the income that I was receiving from my fledgling coaching practice so that I could drop all the jobs that I had taken outside the home and focus on my kids.

Three months later I was invited to lead Spiritual Coaching teleclasses which I loved and adored (and which paid very well) and my journey to master the art and science of running a  profitable "Soul-Aligned" business was set firmly in motion.

And this year (as proof that manifestation is not tied into the external economy) I not only met my bold financial goal for the first half of 2009 (which was to double last year's 6-month business income) but substantially surpassed it - and June is not yet complete.

Because of this I am in a wonderful position to really walk my talk about living a prosperous life (which I define as thriving in every area) by taking an official "business hiatus" for the next two months.

Yes, you've heard it right. I won't be writing e-zines, sales letters or "promoting" my programs in any way. Everything is "going dark."

I've closed down the "Prosperity Partnership" (with 244 members) and the "Soul-Aligned Business Collaborative" (with 251 members) to new participants and we won't be opening the doors to these programs again until September.

And, today, I'm presenting the final "Prosperity Alignments" radio show before I offer up my prime radio spot to someone else.

It feels so liberating to give myself this time to totally detach from the day-to-day "running" of a business so that I can simply play, savor and "be."

Instead of deadlines and emails, my prime focus will be on romance, inner-exploration and uplifting connections with family and friends.

Although I won't be "working" my schedule is very, very full.

In the next 30 days I'll be...

~ renting a beach house in Delaware with my brother and his family.
~ traveling to Vancouver to visit my dear friend Andrea Lee and her husband Mike.
~ taking a 12-day Alaskan cruise/tour (a six-month anniversary celebration.)
~ attending a "Supercamp" Parents Weekend at Cornell University  (which will support the transformational experience that my  children will both be having when they attend "Supercamp" in July and August.)
~ spending a few days in Arizona with Kendall Summerhawk and her husband Richard.

I intend to be fully present for each of these experiences.

Therefore, this will be the last issue of the "Prosperity from the Inside-Out" e-zine until September and today's call-in radio show will be the final one.

I wanted to let you know this in advance so that you don't wonder whether you've dropped of the mailing list. I also wanted to share a message of appreciation. I am well aware that I would not be living the life that I so adore if it weren't for the gift of connection with all of you.
