Dear Conscious Attractors,
Tightness. Procrastination. Anxiety. Yuck!
Are these the words/feelings that you typically
associate with the monthly (or bi-monthly) ritual of
paying your bills?
If so, you may want to consider what impact your
vibrational
statement to the Universe is having on your future
financial
outlook.
The Law of Attraction - the most powerful law in the
Universe - insures that "like attracts like." In other
words, your
experience around money today sets the stage for your
experience of money tomorrow.
As the teacher Abraham reminds us, "You can't get thin
from
hating being fat. And you cannot attract prosperity from
disliking being poor." As we focus on money and
experience a sense of lack we become vibrational magnets
for future
experiences of financial lack.
To propose that how you hold the experience of paying
your bills will effect your financial future is a
radical shift - and this
shift lies at the heart of the "Prosperity from the
Inside-Out"
system.

The Bill Paying Challenge: Week 1)
Shift the Way You Think...
So, are you ready to play?
If what you've been doing up to this point has not
produced the results that you are seeking, what is the
danger of trying
something new? You'll either see intriguing new results
or
you'll return to your habitual way of doing things.
There is no
possibility of loss from experimenting with an attitude
shift.
(And just think how nice it would be if this stuff
really
worked!)
As explained above, the first step in this experiment
requires us to shift our perspective from, "As I pay my
bills money flows out leaving me with less" to one of
gratitude and appreciation for the circulation of money
through your life.
Consider the alternate paradigm reflected in the
following two
quotes:
"The universe operates
through dynamic exchange...giving and receiving are
different aspects of the flow of energy in the
universe. And in our willingness to give that which we
seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating
in our
lives." -- Deepak Chopra in The Seven Spiritual Laws
of Success
"If you want to
experience abundance, be abundant and do as abundance
does...[By doing what] a person who is feeling abundant
does, you are now creating in your body an experience -
at a cellular level - that you know yourself to be
abundant. Money really only has a value when you release
it - because then it empowers you to be/do and have
something that matches who you are. And what goes around
comes around because now you've gotten the truth of who
you are and the Universe never says "no" to your thought
of who you are - it only grows it!!!" --Neale Donald

Both quotes suggest a
180-degree turnaround from the original thought that
giving will leave us with less. As we consider bill
paying from this perspective we find ourselves feeling
freer and more willing to participate in the circulation
of money (and money was meant to circulate - that is why
coins are round!!!!)
The experiment we are suggesting for this month involves
paying your bills while holding the attitude that there
is "more than enough." In other words, by acting "as if"
you have more money than you need, truly having more
money than you need will become your truth.
You know how it feels to pay bills from a place of
feeling as if
there is not enough (scarcity thinking).
What words/feelings come to mind as you envision sitting
down with a large pile of envelopes, a calculator and a
pen? Write those words down and know that they represent
your current bill-paying "vibration."
Now ask yourself if the experience of paying bills would
be
different if you had access to unlimited funds?
Imagine for a moment that you had a huge sum of money in
your checking account which was always replenished. No
matter how much you put out there was always more than
enough remaining.
If this were your truth, how would you experience paying
your
bills?
What words/feelings would you vibrate under these
conditions?
Finally, would feeling that way lead you to act
differently at
bill-paying time?

The Better It Gets, The Better It
Gets...
Dear Elyse:
I just negotiated a 2x increase in pay on the recording project I am
doing, my fiancée is the most wonderful woman in the world, my
daughter is able to meet me in San Francisco to take a course she has
wanted to do for two years, I am making music that satisfies my soul,
and things look even better in my inner landscape! Yikes, not a lot to
complain about...
Thank you with all my heart. My last pay scale was a fantastic
improvement over my previous life, and now that my life
has radically changed, this new pay scale fits better.
I've decided that situations like that only need fit as
long as they do; I feel like a kid who needs a new set
of clothes every six months.
