Dear
Conscious Attractors,
There’s no doubt about it. Oprah believes in the “law of
attraction” and wants her audience to tap into its
power.
As she explained to Larry King, “The message of ‘The
Secret’
is the message that I’ve been trying to share with the
world
on my show for the past 21 years…You really can change
your own reality based on the way that you think.”
Yet Oprah is not blind to the debates that have been
sparked
by "The Secret."
In that same interview, Oprah acknowledged that there
has been controversy around the film and added, “I think
that the message needs to go further.”
So Oprah elected to support the evolution of thought
related to "The Secret" by inviting Louise
Hay, Cheryl Richardson and Martha Beck to be her guests
last week to discuss, “The Secret Behind the Secret.”
For those of you who missed it (and even for those of
you who were lucky enough to catch it) here are some of
the juiciest messages from the show:

No matter any criticism for "The Secret," Oprah says she
still
believes it's valuable. "I'm grateful that for so many
millions
of people the door was at least opened to the idea that
we are
each responsible for the quality of our lives," she
says. "The
Secret was really just the beginning."
Louise Hay agrees that "The Secret" is a good first step.
"I though It's going to go to lots of people
who
don't know anything about this. The metaphysical people
already know this,
but we don't use it for things, we
use it to improve the quality of our lives."
Martha Beck explains there are two ways to create a
list.
One is what she calls "the shallow way." "It comes from
our
fears and from our grasping."
If you make a list for a shallow reason, Martha says, it
just
won't work.
Cheryl Richardson says trying to mistakenly use the law
of
attraction to get material things is really
just the
first step
of a personal evolution.

The
need to go deeper...
Note that these are not your typical "Secret" sound bites.
Each author, in her own way, took a stand and emphasized
what may be an unpopular truth: If you only
understand the law of attraction on a "surfacy" level
